🏀 Kaylene Smikel netted a career-high 33 points as Women’s Basketball handled Delaware State 82-48

Four players scored in double digits in the two teams’ last meeting back on February 11, 2023 in Champaign. It was the only meeting Illinois and Rutgers had with the Illini prevailing 69-60 on their home court. Here are a few things to keep in mind for Saturday:

• This will be the 16th game in the series with the Fighting Illini leading the all-time record at 11-4

• During his time in Piscataway, Head Coach Steve Pikiell is 4-1 including having his Scarlet Knights play spoiler to ranked Illinois teams three times

• RU has won three in a row when playing the series at home
