🏀 STARTING FIVE: TIGERS & LEOPARDS
This week, we are scouting an 8-4 Princeton Tigers team as the 7-4 overall Scarlet Knights kick off the Never Forget Tribute Classic:
Last week, Tigers guard Xaivian Lee received Ivy League Player of the Week honors
Over the past two matchups, Lee averaged 17.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, 7.5 assists and 1.5 steals
In their last meeting, Princeton downed Rutgers 68-61
Matt Allocco earned Most Outstanding Player after leading the Tigers to victory with 21 points (9-13 FG) and nine rebounds
Previewing the 3-7 Lafayette Leopards as they hit the road to battle the 7-4 Scarlet Knights in their final matchup of 2024:
In the Leopards’ previous contest, forward Tasha Chudy closed out the team’s December home slate with a career-high 14 points against Dartmouth
Earlier in the month, sophomore Teresa Kiewiet also posted a career-high 13 points, two assists in Lafayette’s commanding 74-45 victory over Wagner
Joining her in double-figures were seniors Abby Antognoli (14) and Halee Smith (11) and junior Kay Donahue (10)
