🤯 THIS WAS A CLOSE ONE! (2021)

In a game that came down to wire, the Scarlet Knights certainly showed that they aren’t one to be messed with.

  • With eight minutes left in the fourth quarter, Purdue held the lead 57-47 [3:30].

  • However, Rutgers would soon find their spark to bring the deficit to one with a clutch slam from Mawot Mag [4:17].

  • With 3.4 seconds remaining on the clock, Purdue would silence the Rutgers crowd, taking a 68-67 lead [5:07]. The Knights had no timeouts left.

  • Quickly sprinting up the court, Ron Harper Jr. hurled the ball up from way outside the arc…the buzzer sounds…and the bucket is good [5:13]! The Scarlet Knights win this battle 70-68.
